   As Mining Plant and Light Vehicle Services has its own fully-equipped boilermakers truck the company is able to perform maintenance work in the field where it has expertise in the assembly and servicing of diesel hydraulic mining excavators, shovels & RDT's (Rear Dump Trucks).

   Apprentices are an important part of the company structure with two currently employed. Both are working their way through a light vehicle mechanic/ diesel fitter dual apprenticeship.   

   Mining Plant and Light Vehicle Services are also experts in welding and light fabrication.They do light fabrication including trailers, machine component protection and light vehicle roll-over protection. Another service offered by the company is certification on vehicles. Out of their light vehicle workshop they can carry out certificates of inspection for vehicles up to sixteen tonne and the normal safety certification inspections and modification plates for light vehicles.
